Boycotts

They may not work, but there is no reason not to do it if you are disgusted by the massacre of innocent Palestinians by Israel.
For years I've never bought any agricultural goods that have 'Israel' ('West Bank' on Tesco goods is also on the list as they are farmed by illegal Israel settlers) stamped on them and will continue to do so. I know it is almost impossible to avoid purchasing goods (for example the ThinkPad I am using has a processor that was developed in that country) that may have come from the dreadful country, nor will it be possible to organise a mass boycott but this tiny household will continue to try whenever possible.
If world leaders are not prepared to do so (the silence from Gordon Brown and Barack Obama is deafening), then individuals will have to do it in a peaceful way with the money in our wallets.
